Identifying La Scalas

I got a pair of old brown painted La Scalas and they have a label on the back filled in by hand of Model LSBR and serial #s 4N433 and 4N434. They sound fine. Can anyone tell me when they were made or any other information? They seem pretty old. Thanks in advance

I got them from E-bay this summer to try and build tube system. No, I'm not selling them yet. I'm not sure if I should get rid of the brown paint, but if they are raw birch plywood, maybe I should strip them. I also got a pair of raw birch cornwalls from the late 70s and maybe I could match them. Thanks for the information and the interest. I'll come here first when I get ready to sell

Mine were a disaster when I got them but Q-Man (another board member and cabinet maker) refinished mine for me a couple of months ago. He stripped them (they were lacquered), sanded them smooth, filled in the gouges and chipped veneer with hard maple and then stained them with a Golden Oak. He then applied a couple of coats of lacquer. I am attaching a picture of them. You will need to click on the LS8.jpeg attachment at the bottom of this post...
