001 Posted September 30, 2018 Share Posted September 30, 2018 call around to some local furniture shops you might be surprised how cheap it would be to refinish them if the veneer isnt in too bad of shape. i had a pair of walnut lacquer k-horns that had lots of scratches in them that i was going to refinish myself but thought id check prices for having them done professionally... they estimated about $150 each to sand & relacquer them & one or 2 deep scratches they would "repair" but wouldnt be a perfect match. to reveneer just the big front bass bin board would have been about $300-$400 for the pair, the tops & sides didnt need new veneer. these are midwest prices, might be more or less in your area. so, for chorus to reveneer or refinish i bet it would be pretty cheap. also if they are black & you want to keep them black, its very cheap & easy to paint them. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
