HDBRbuilder Posted October 19, 2002 Share Posted October 19, 2002 Check on eBay....there are plenty of speaker ghouls there selling off parts outta Klipsch Heritage speakers. The funny thing is...with a Cornwall, you normally get more for the entire speaker than you get for the sum of its parts!! Some idiot recently parted out a pair of nice looking k-horns...and probably only got 700 bucks for the cabinets and all the parts thrown in together...by selling them in parted-out form!!! He could have gotten at least 1200 bucks if he had just sold them complete!!! Look at it this way...I recently paid 200 bucks for two Cornwall B networks, two mid-horns and two midhorn drivers....the woofers probably brought another 100 bucks or so to the seller...and the tweeters another 100 bucks or so...total of 400 bucks or so...he had to give away the cabinets...so no money for him there!!!...and Cornwalls normally go for at least 600 bucks as complete units in pairs on eBay!!! Cornwall II parts don't bring as much...partly because of the crossover...and the midhorn lens...seems folks want the parts from the earlier Cornwalls much more!!
