robotec
My KSW12 does not automatically turn on, when I put in a dd or dts dvd. My previous Infinity sub would detect the LFE signal and turn on. I have to actually set the switch to "on" in order for the KSW12 to activate. The "autodetect" switch doesn't seem to work on this sub. Does anyone else have the same problem? t-man
I don't have this problem. How do you have it connected? If it is connected to LFE only, you will not hear it, and it will not turn on fast enough to get all your LFE. Mine does constantly hum, though. robotec
I have it hooked up the exact same way that I had my Infinity Sub hooked up. The LFE out with a Y connector.
myram
I have my KSW12 hooked up just with the LFE with a y splitter and it comes on instantly when I start a movie and the first bass signal hits it. I have no humming or any problems with this sub.....I think it is great so far.
robotec
What kind of receiver do you have and what do you have your xcossover settings set for on both the receiver and your sub? What about the volume on your receiver and sub when you are playing movies?
