dalewg
How else might I identify the age a pair of LaScala's other than a serial number? I think they were purchased in '75-76 by my father but I was too young to remember an exact date. Now the S/N has faded and my dad has passed on. If they were purchased at this time, how much would they be worth to sell?
dougdrake
Post any information you can find on them - crossover type, part numbers on the drivers, etc... Someone here will be able to approximate it for you, I'm sure. Almost regardless of age, LaScala's keep about the same price, depending on condition, of course. We typically see them in the $800-1100 range. DD
mpgwagon
The S/N is also stamped on the cabinet. On the back side edge of the opening near the crossover.
Dale W
That's correct. I checked mine this weekend and the serial number is stamped in the wood directly above the magnet on the mid horn. Acording to the old de-coder ring mine are 1987 models. The factory paper ones fell off years ago.
