Joel P Posted November 25, 2002 Share Posted November 25, 2002 I have a pair of natural birch La Scala's LSBR 10r874 LSBR 9r779(there is an L to the left of the 9) What is the LSBR stand for Why does one have a 9 and the other a 10 at the begining. Should I be worried they don't match? JohnA Posted November 25, 2002 Share Posted November 25, 2002 LSBB is La Scala Birch Black. The r means 1977 and the first 9 and 10, is some sort of notation for the time of year. The last digits are the production sequence number. There is no worry about non-consecutive serial numbers; they are both alike. Perhaps in 1982, the year of the squawker change to K-55-M, non-consecutive numbers may indicate a mismatch. It would be obvious, though. The t means 1979.
