Compton
I currently have a KV2 center channel. Would I notice a big difference if I were to updrade to the RC3-ii? TIA
erdric
What do you have for main speakers?
jhawk92
It all depends on what you have for L/R mains. Fill us in and we should be able to help. My edit...OMG, look how close our replies are Jim!! Maybe we should be bidding on eBay! Oh, yeah, you already did. LOL.
Compton
I just purchased a SVS 25-31 PC+ Sub. L/R Speakers are Infinity Reference 2000.6 Floor Standing Speakers (They sound ok and leads me to my next question.. How much better are the RF3's?) Denon 1803 Receiver driving them. Thanks. jhawk92
Well, there goes my ability to comment, since I have not heard the 2000.6. Maybe some of the other board members???
dougdrake
My guess is that if you are set on keeping the Infinity's, you'd be best off getting an Infinity center channel. I'm surprised that the KV-2 is giving any kind of timbre match at all. OTOH, you seem to be open to switching, so take a good look at the Reference series. We think you'll like them! As for the original question, I'm in agreement with Doug. You should either go with an Infinity center or Klipsch mains. The timbre will not be right and having a correct timbre match across the front array is critical.
