If you crave bass in your car as much as you do in your home, your car system must rock. Just couious. Thank you in advance for answering. TheEAR Posted December 4, 2002 Share Posted December 4, 2002 cdsang, Surprise surprise no sub bass at all!I ONLY listen at home,I know how a great competition winning quality car sound system can be(when proper EQ and digital correction is applied)but with all the reflective surfaces you can never match a great home system. So again I only have subs at home.Yes only at home. And more to come! Besides by two home systems can reach output levels so high with no audible distortion most would collapse or puke.Giant car subs to me are Woofaz on wheels and more about loud then defined and clean.Not to say a great car system is out of question. I only invest in home audio,besides systems degrade much faster in cars,condensation,heat variations.All contribute to the shorter life of car audio components.
