michaeldj09
Hey everyone I was trying to pop out a dent in my rf-7 woofer today. I got the suction too strong and rippled the woofer. Does anybody have a spare lying around they would like to sell to me? Greatly appreciated. michaeldj09
Okay good news is the woofer still functions without detectable distortion. However, these are meant to be a gift for my brother in-law so ideally I don’t want to have to give them to him with a rippled woofer. Still searching! maseline_98
It is a cosmetic. It should not affect the sound at all. You could call a local speaker repair shop to fix the dust cover but the copper woofer is another problem altogether. I purchased a spare one for myself a long time ago from Klipsch themselves. It was about $250 for the single woofer. You might try calling their parts department.Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
michaeldj09
Yea cosmetic, they sound great. I bought them thinking I could find a replacement, but its proving a lot more difficult. I haven't called the Klipsch part department, I'll give that a shot. Thanks for the idea!
