robB Posted December 13, 2002 Share Posted December 13, 2002 Hi BOB I know you guys must break out into a cold sweat,whenever heritage questions come up. Are they still running the custom finishes, eg:rosewood,zebrawood,cherry,oak,walnut ,etc?? Someone mentioned(and it might have been you) that after a certain timepoint they will only be the natural,..or lacquer finish.. also in the corner horns,.. do they still build the 3 cabinet styles,..like they used to or just one "classic" version i think one was a raw version and the other were to furniture versions.. with the top version having the rise at the bottom of the bass cabinet and the split between the HF/LF cabinets.. just curious why? Our house plans are set back till the end of next summer,..and would REALLY like to get a furniture finished set of horns after all,.besides being the musical instrument that they are... they are awesome piece of funiture in the deluxe finishes.. Hope your folks are getting through the backlog as good as can be.! I went through this in the furniture business. merry christmas.... ps Does anyone have a pic on what a Lacquer finshed set of horns look like???
