Islander
Klipsch recommends a minimum ceiling height of 8.5 feet for Klipschorns. 9 feet or higher is likely even better. La Scalas work fine with 8 foot ceilings. Quite a few people on the Forum have commented that a pair of La Scalas paired with a good subwoofer or two can sound as good or better than a pair of Klipschorns, with the advantages of more flexibility in room placement and the ability to work at shorter listening distances than Khorns, because of the reduced distance between the tweeter/squawker section and the woofer horn mouth, allowing the bass and treble to coalesce sooner/at shorter distances.
