jhawk92
Ok, all you tube-heads out there, help me out. While I love my SS/Klipsch combo, I understand tubes/Klipsch are even better. So, is there a good book for a novice to read though and be able to understand some of the terminology tossed about in this forum? I'd like to be able to understand SET, push-pull, triode, pentode, Class A, B, AB, and info on different tubes, etc. I have done a bit of research on the net and found a couple possible items. The Tube Amp Book, 4th Ed, by Aspen Pittman Principles of Power A Practical Guide to Tube Power Amplifier Design By Kevin OConnor From the descriptions, maybe the O'Connor book would be better, but I don't need to design my own, just learn about them so I can start making informed decisions. Thanks much.
