Kain
I read about some people complaining that Klipsch speakers are too bright. However, don't all movie theaters use horn-loaded speakers? If so, why don't I hear people complaining about them being too bright?
TBrennan
Kain---Even if Klipsch speakers are too bright it doesn't follow that all horn speakers are. There is nothing inherant in horns that causes "brightness". But I can certainly make a set of horns sound bright if I choose to, just as I can make a set of cone-dome speakers sound bright too. Just as with other types of speakers the maker voices the speakers to suit himself. If Klipsches are bright it's because they're Klipsch and not because they're horns. www.chicagohornspeakerclub.org
