wuzzzer
I've read that the recommendation for surround speakers with an Atmos setup is to use direct radiating speakers. Currently I'm using RS-7s which are wide dispersion. Has anyone else switched their surrounds from wide dispersion to direct radiating when they upgraded to Atmos? Ideally I'd love to have Heresys all around and I'm always on the lookout for an inexpensive pair but I think a decent bookshelf pair would work well also. hobbyinn
Definitely try a set of direct fire for surrounds side and rear. I originally used some bipolars on the side. There was a night and day difference when I switched to direct...for the better.
wuzzzer
In my room I don't really have room for rear surrounds. I'm definitely keeping an eye out for something to use as side surrounds in place of my RS-7s.
