HDBRbuilder Posted December 24, 2002 Share Posted December 24, 2002 riser is just made of pieces of scrap material of same kind as rest of cabinet...in your case, birch plywood...is a rectangular riser...mitered corners, about 1" tall...with 3/4"x3/4" cross-section blocks reinforcing the inside corners at miter joints...simple build.
