Sourcing the cloth covered grills for KP201

I'm trying to retrofit cloth covered grills onto my KP201-II - seeking ones similar to the attached image.

Anyone know if Duracrest will still make them for you? Or does anyone know of any lying around?

I currently have the perforated metal grill, and it doesn't look great at home.

You can buy the black grill cloth at critesspeakers.com

Then maybe you could have frames routed out of 1/2" plywood locally.

I did the same for my Jubilee bass bins.

The trick to shaping the cloth to the frame is to use a heat gun to help form it around the corners to the back before you staple it.  As you gently heat it, you can watch it tighten up.  Don't get it too tight at first, get it all wrapped and stapled then do a final heat application to do a final tightening.

Good luck!
