I have a K-45-KT basket available to me and was wondering if there is a recone kit (original or aftermarket) available for this model? Are there any 15” recone kits from a similar driver that are compatible? details and info on these drivers are very sketchy!!! Dave A Posted April 3, 2022 Share Posted April 3, 2022 I have five of those I threw in the scrap metal hopper. Re-conning is a problem in getting OEM spec kits to work with. The people I spoke to about them could not tell me the TS parameters of the K-45 so how were they going to be able to verify what they used was correct? I honestly don't know what small variances in re-conning kits would do to the sound and maybe those generic kits will work good enough. Simply Speakers comes to mind here.
