pmd5498
My speakers stopped working today no sound at all. The headphone jack works i still get sound out of that. I checked all my volume controls and its not my soundcard since my headset works. I even installed new drivers for soundcard and nothing. I rewired everything rebooted checked every wire and nothing. I hate to return these i had them for 2 weeks i must say very sad that you pay tons of money and they last so short i hope thats not the case. I am running windows xp with a audigy xgamer. Plz someone help
rjb294
Kick it! LOL.... My suggestion would be to check all the wire connections again. Is there any other way that you could test the speakers? Plug them into something else and see if they work. Try using a different cable. RJB
MrMcGoo
pmd5498, Be sure that your receiver's speaker output is set to "A". In essence, a receiver can turn the speakers off through the speaker settings. All it takes is brushing the wrong button. Before you return the speakers, be certain that they do not work. Use a triple A battery (which is 1.5 v.) to go across the terminals. You should get a lound thump if the speaker is working. Bill
STL
Try posting in a more appropriate forum like one of these: http://forums.klipsch.com/idealbb/default.asp?catID=21&sessionID={AC016554-4A6D-43B0-89DC-64E5D85100DB} Posting this in the "Home Audio" forum probably won't help you much.
