m00n
I noticed when I was tearing appart my theater this evening, I had my interconnects connected to the wrong plugs. I had them going into the OUTPUT, not the INPUT... Odd thing is, is that it still played. However, I noticed that when I was trying to balance the volume levels, it was kinda tweeky. I guess I know why now eh?

MrMcGoo
m00n, I have attached speaker cables incorrectly that have caused the receiver to go into protection mode. When I corrected the problem, it worked exactly as it had before I made the mistake. Since that "little" mistake, I have tried to be more careful. TheEAR
No damage done, reversing interconects causing any damage at all is very very rare. Not even rare medium Its not like you conected RCA speaker out to RCA line level in. Then started to pump the volume until the overload.
