duckloads Posted January 7, 2003 Share Posted January 7, 2003 Thanks for the response about my inquiry concerning HT choices and Bose advice. Last night I went to my local Tweeter shop and listened to several Klipsch systems. The Synergy series was nice. Then I went into the Reference room. Oh boy! I listened to the RF-3's and KLF-10's. The KLF-10's were on sale at a good price, but they seemed to be lacking in the mid/high (?) range. They were missing something, but were still much richer than the Synergy. You guys will be glad to know.......I then asked the Salesman if he sold Bose products, and got a very quiet "Yes". He never elaborated or asked me if I wanted to listen to them. So, I asked him how they compare, and again I got a very quiet, "they don't". So it seems my decision has become a bit easier. I am going to listen to their bookshelf counterpart ( RB-5's) to get an idea. I would also like to listen to the big KLF-30's.
