Dneu2011
I have decided to sell my custom Elekit gear that I built a couple years ago. The setup sounds amazing but it is overkill for my office and I have been rotating in Pass solid state amps I build so these don't get much use. I have decided to move on from tubes. I purchased both kits from DIYAudio and both include the upgrades listed on the website right now (Takman resistors, Lundahl transformers, plus I added in Mundorf M-cap capacitors and upgraded the opamps in the phono). I also did not like how the two pieces did not match, so I had them professionally powder coated Satin black so both pieces match. What you will receive: - Elekit 8800 with upgrades and Mullard CV4024 - Elekit 8500 with upgrades and Mullard CV4024 - Extra stickers for the 8500 - Manuals for both include the build manuals - will not be including power cables - Extra tubes include: - Power Tubes of TAD 6l6WGC-STR, Svetlana EL34, Tung Sol KT66, Gold Lion KT77, and Tung Sol KT150 - Extra Driver/Signal 12at7s (tough to read all the exact info on the tubes) - Pair of GE, Pair of Tung Sols, Pair of RCA, and 2 pairs of Electroharmonix The 8500 preamp can also use 12au7 The 8800 can use a WIDE range of tubes from 6v6 all the way up to KT150. Check out the list on DiyAudio I think I paid over $3000 for everything including the tubes. I am asking $2500 and I will cover shipping to anywhere in the continental US.
rayrcanales
you're moving away from tubes and I am seriously considering moving to tubes but I don't have much experience with Tube Power.

Dneu2011
This setup is still available. This is perfect for anyone nervous about trying tubes and having to worry about Biasing. This unit self-biases and all you need to do is put in your two tubes. I have been experimenting with Class A builds from Nelson Pass over the last 2 years and have not been using my tube equipment much.
