These are in absolutely fantastic condition, I see no pitting of the chrome or any scratches. They are a solid "8". I bought these here on the forum from richieb and he wasn't kidding about how nice they are. Now for the best part. I purchased these to use with my Hattor Audio passive line stage. I was a little concerned about having enough gain so I had them both shipped directly to Vladimir at AM to change the input sensitivity to ~1v. While there I told him to do any upgrades he felt would be beneficial and give them the once over. Here is what he did: Replaced resistors for power tube biasing Upgraded the chokes Replaced electrolytic caps in the power supply So these amps are in great shape and ready for many more years of enjoyment. These come with a host of tube choices. 12x - 6h5c OTK Russian power tubes (6as7 equivalent) 5x - RCA JAN 6as7 power tubes 4x - RCA 6080 small bottle equivalent to 6as7 2x - Sylvania 6sn7GT 2x - Tung Sol Russian 6sl7 2x - 6h9c Russian OTK (6sl7 equivalent) The tubes and amps are packed very well for safe shipping. These are wonderful sounding amps rated at 20 watts/channel and will drive most reasonable loads. Auto biasing. Very dynamic and transparent.
