Wanted Xilica DSP

no offense meant to you Sir but have you installed XConsole and hooked up to the unit with distortion? Sometimes the settings are whack and need adjusting or resetting. If you have done all this my apologies.

Another member here was having problems and the limiters on his unit were set to -20dBu instead of +20dBu. What's 40 dB amongst friends?:)

Also don't know which unit you acquired but sometimes how you hook it up (the cables) can be an issue.

GLWY search.

I am well versed with pro sound equipment…the unit was flashed with latest firmware and set to defaults. Any DSP settings including a simple mix change will distort signal, its at the digital level and not the opamps.

the scope shot below is just adding a mix, if i change something as simple as gain, it gets worse. Compression/limiter is set to max (20db).

The software meters also show compression.

Yep that looks pretty jacked...very non monotonic. This is the output with just a sine wave in?

Are you just out the cash you paid to seller on Ebay?

Which model is it? I have schematics of analog I/O portion if you want them.

Yes, 1000hz sine wave, its a clean output until i introduce any DSP changes.

If i even reduce DSP gain at input or output, it almost turns into a sawtooth….

Its not in the analog section since opamps don't behave that way when they go bad and would usually have some offset.

Its the XP 2040…

send me the schematics, I’d like to take a look at it anyways
