MMP Posted October 23, 2023 Share Posted October 23, 2023 I got a subwoofer from a thrift shop and all it had was the main power cord. What other cords do I need to hook this up properly? billybob Posted October 24, 2023 Share Posted October 24, 2023 Welcome! Is your receiver an AVR or other. You likely have a powered sub. Do you have a remote control for the receiver, control volume. Do you have preout or LFE connections labeled on unit. Setting on sub fairly explained. Yes you will need cable type for subwoofer. Stereo cables you may want to have spare around.
