Will the ultra2 do 2 channel stereo as well as the rb5's. Also, I see the rb-35 that is replacing the rb-5's is priced lower. How do these two compare in sound? Deang Posted February 1, 2003 Share Posted February 1, 2003 Lower price of the RB-35 over the RB-5 may be because the RB-5 had real wood veneer, and the RB-35 uses vinyl veneer. I'm only guessing here -- since I don't know much about the new line. Changing the RB-5 was a mistake. It is a standout product, sounds better than the RF-3, and should have been made a permanent part of the RF-5/RF-7 family. Of course, I haven't heard the RB-75, which may be a step up.
