Weiming
Hi! I am planning on rebuilding my 1982 Cornwall crossovers soon. Does anybody know what are the dimensions (width and height) for the stock crossover board and the location and size of the 2 screw holes that hold the board to the cabinet? Thanks! fini
What "type" are they? Mine are type "B" (in my '79's and '80's pairs). Why are you so concerned with the exact size and placement? I think close is close. fini
Al Klappenberger
The network board measure 10 X 7 In. The mounting holes are 9 In apart. Al K
Weiming
Thanks Al! Mucho appreciated! Fini, I needed the dimensions as I will be sourcing for a MDF board to mount the new components and am frankly just plain lazy to open it up to make the measurements. Also, I want to mount the boards back into the original locations so I have no need of drilling two new holes for the new boards
HDBRbuilder
Why use MDF? Plywood does a better job of holding screws than MDF does...and is what they used at the plant for network boards (cut from scrapped parts or leftover material...out of birch plywood). BTW, all Klipsch network board bases had the same dimensions...they were all punched the same too, no matter what speaker they were going into....at least while I worked there...1976-1983. fini
I know what you mean. These puppies are huge. Just skootching them around on the carpet can be a chore. I've avoided some trouble-shooting on my KSP/Denon HT set-up because of the heft of the gear. fini
