A year or two ago in an attempt to reach a larger market, klipsch in their infinite wisdom produced a limited edition run of the now rare and sought after Lucky Charms reference series. These speakers were available for a few thousand boxtops apiece. Few of the speakers remain today however as a klipsch spokesman stated in a recent interview that a small gentleman in a green outfit was believed to have broken into the klipsch factory and made off with the entire production run. There were some(namely bobg) who imediately placed the blame on the bass hungry evil EAR. It seems however the evil EAR had an alibi for the night in question however, he was seen at his hometown hifi store buying out their stock of available reference series subwoofers. As it stands these speakers are now worth some serious $$$$ If you see a pair of these at an estate sale, do not hesitate to buy them at whatever the price.
