kjohnsonhp Posted February 26, 2003 Share Posted February 26, 2003 Have you done some comparisons between the Belles and your piano? Do you think the Belles are notably brighter than the piano? I've been trying to balance between clarity, accurate highs and too bright and harsh. I guess it's been too long since I've heard a nice tuned piano. Have you ever used an SPL meter when the piano is playing? Your system just made me think how fun it would be to compare live vs a recording...heck you've got the perfect setting to compare a Dave Mallet recording and Klipsch playback vs live.
