Where to purchase......best pricing?

Well, that depends on if you are talking authorized vs. unauthorized dealers.

If you are near a Tweeter, and they still have them in stock, you may be able to get a clearance price on them. Sometimes, authorized dealers will come down in price somewhat if you use the unauthorized dealer pricing as a level. Keep in mind that they won't match the price (probably), nor should they for the higher expense they carry with service departments, show rooms, etc. Personally, I've never had a dealer drop their price except to get close to other dealers.

There are a couple of unauthorized dealers that seem to have done well by their customers based on the posts I've read here. www.acousticsounddesign.com and www.sounddistributors.com (1 or 2 d's?) are 2 that come to mind.

Muleman~

1. Tweeter no longer carries Klipsch. What they have left in stock has been on clearance for quite some time now.

2. Klipsch has released 14 new Reference models which should be available soon. The new Reference models do not replace the 7 series as the top of the line. The Newscenter section at the top of the page has the info on the new models.

Check out http://www.soundcity.com they have some really good prices. Do not go by what their prices say on their website as they are not updated consistantly. Use the website more as a catalog and then call you get the best price. They are usually very reasonable and sometimes if you ask "is that the best you can do on it" they may cut a little extra as well.

good luck,

Thought it would be nice to have the warranty directly through Klipsch, most of my speakers come from www.acousticsounddesign.com

They have been more than helpful in all ways thus far. Also, if you plan on making multiple purchases, you can get free shipping on your second if you post a review (including a run-down of your experience with acousticsounddesign.com) of your first product on AudioReview.

It's not quite like going to Tweeter, but, then, you're not paying 2.2K for a set of RF7's there, either.
