friend
hi, after i got my klipsch yesterday, i got it running and the sound was just so amazing and powerful. then i thought of connecting an extra subwoofer(160-watt) with klipsch. i had that extra subwoofer from my home theater. i connected and then as i started the song, my glass window cracked. i forgot to lower the bass level on that extra subwoofer. after the incident, i lowered the level and now i have an amazing "Home Theater" system in my small room. is that cool or what???? boesmith3369
heheh yep I can totally understand that. My X-gf bought me a calender with one of those cheap coffee muggs in it and it must of had a hairline fracture in it cause after a mild day of the pros my mug began to leak coffee as if the pros actally encouraged the fracture to open up just enough to emty my entire cup of joe 8( I would be listening to the pros as loud as I did cause man I swear ever since I did I have ringing to this day heheh 8P
LoW_KeY
ahh yes how did you hook that other sub up and use both? I asked on the powered subwoofer board of Klipsch but the guy lost me.. KC
friend
the subwoofer i have has same kind of connection as satellites. the subwoofer has connection for left input (2 wires) and right input (2 wires). so, i connected the subwoofer using the satellite output port. Marauder
Since youre using preouts, you can also buy a signal splitter in a number of configurations from Radio Shack to accomidate any type of connections you need for "add ons".
