Soundthought
Hello all, I was wondering if anyone else has tried this set-up? So far, i'm really impressed with their performance together. They seem to mate very well. I would almost say that this set up allows the speakers to "disappear". That's difficult in my little room, but it's sure coming close. I'm hearing many unheard transients, a locked central image while maintaining a broad soundstage, great stereo separation, very realistic depth and character throughout the entire spectrum, and mostly...it doesn't appear to fatigue ones' ear. Nice, considering that is a prime objective of mine. Plus, the StereoTech gives the Chorus a really nice midbass punch with the compensation circut enabled. I like that. Regards, John. Audible Nectar
The Stereotech is a McIntosh unit that was built in Japan. Given the design lineage, I'm not the least bit surprised that it sounds good on da Klipsch. McIntosh + Klipsch = Ice cream for the ears.
