Griffinator
I've got a few tube devices that I would like to breadboard out and see if I can make them work (amp for my 2-channel system, and a 6-band tube multicomp for my mastering rig) and I'm at a loss for finding some good quality sockets for 6L6's. Any ideas?

Griffinator
Thanks for the tips, gentlemen. I'm noticing that the paper-and-oil caps 1%-tolerance resistors I've been looking for, as well as the gold solder can also be found at those two stops {evil grin} I'll have to show off some pics when I get these two monsters built. The tube multicomp is actually something I'm looking at manufacturing for the pro audio market - the amp is just for my personal enjoyment. Griffinator
BTW - I heard rumours a while back that G.E. was coming forward with a most spectacular new line of 6L6 tubes - anyone checked them out?
