synergy beter then the rest

I was wondering if the synergry's were better then the rest of the speakers in the HT in the world. You know better the boston, bose, jbl,.... so on so forth. Because I went to a friends house and watched star wars attack of the clones and he was using M&K everthing and it sounded like crap I dont know if it was a low end system but it really sounded awful. Just wanted to know yalls opinon.

M&K is not junk,M&K makes good quality sat speakers and subwoofers.However M&K is overpriced and their world famous subs bite the dust when they face real class leaders like SVS,Velodyne,Sunfire and company.

so would you say that the synergy are better or worse because to me they didnot impress me at all. I am aware that the synergy are the bottom end of the klipsch family but to me it they just sounded better.

And on a side note Iam on my way to upgradeing to the reference series. I just recevied my RC-35 center speaker but it is still in the box. I told myself that I would not set it up until I get the whole series.

There is much more to sound quality than the speakers. He could have had bad amps or sources or any number of things. MK audio is quite nice.

I think the Synergy's sound quite good. So much so that I bought a pair of SF-2s for my parents. I don't think many other brands in that price range hold a candle to them.
