methink
have the serial numbers always been stamped into the wood on the heritage line of speakers?
Good2BHome
I can only speak to Cornwalls. I believe they were stamped begining in 1962. I am positive they were from 1968 to 1980. I'm reasonable sure up to 1983. 1984 to 1990 I don't know, but doubt it.
justin_tx_16
Yes, I believe so. Stamped along the edge on the back.
Malcolm
Appears to be the case with Heresys from mid 60s through end of production in 1985.
methink
I have seen old heresy and cornwalls with the stamp, but a newer pair of la scalas without it. It seems like a good idea since the paper label with eventually fall off. Thanks for the info.
SCOOTERDOG
My La Scala's are stampped as well. I bought these in 1981.
