Upgrade Advice Pleeeeze?!?

Recommended Posts

I have been using my 4.1 THX Klipsch speakers with my computer for a couple of years now, and they are awesome. I just upgraded my sound card to an Audigy 2, and want to take advantage of the ability to do 5.1\6.1. Is there anything I can do to add to what I already have? If not, is there a best way to sell my current units that are in excellent condition? I noticed that Klipsch sells refurbished units. Could I trade\sell them back to Klipsch with credit towards a new set? Thanks Very Much For Your Help!!!!!

No, you cannot sell them back to Klipsch. You are just fine, you do not need to upgrade. All the 5.1 will add is a more powerful sub and a real center channel. The ProMedia 4.1's have an EXCELLENT phantom center and its sub is as powerful as can be asked. If you want more bass, get a ProMedia SWS, but leave the rest alone. You have done well 1.gif

Heh, I got the same exact sound setup as you. Audigy 2 + Klipsch 4.1 is an awesome combination.
