smudgeyjoe
I have been using my 4.1 THX Klipsch speakers with my computer for a couple of years now, and they are awesome. I just upgraded my sound card to an Audigy 2, and want to take advantage of the ability to do 5.1\6.1. Is there anything I can do to add to what I already have? If not, is there a best way to sell my current units that are in excellent condition? I noticed that Klipsch sells refurbished units. Could I trade\sell them back to Klipsch with credit towards a new set? Thanks Very Much For Your Help!!!!!
justin_tx_16
No, you cannot sell them back to Klipsch. You are just fine, you do not need to upgrade. All the 5.1 will add is a more powerful sub and a real center channel. The ProMedia 4.1's have an EXCELLENT phantom center and its sub is as powerful as can be asked. If you want more bass, get a ProMedia SWS, but leave the rest alone. You have done well

Audigy 2 + Klipsch 4.1 is an awesome combination.
pinipig523
same set up here - except for the much added OOMPH of an infinity ht sub. anyway, if u really want 5.1 sound... u can buy an extra set of 2.1s and hook it up. u will get 2 speaks for your center channel. MD1032
Isn't that a bit too much for a ceter channel? It might be too prominent. Technically the best thing to slap into your center channel jack would be a 3-way 1.1 type thing, like a promedia 1.1 lol.
