Audio Flynn
Craig ttok my LK-48 Scottie back to the lab for a tune up yesterday. Before he left I hooked up the P6D direct to the MSB Link II outputs. I cannot remember exactly what he said; I was having a few beers on my rare day off. It went something like this," that amp just sounds stupid, there is no way in HE11 it should sound that good". Put it in a bigger box with Cardas female rca connections and sell it for $ 600 - 800." Boy is it simple and clean! Thanks again LEOK whever you have been hiding lately. We just love it! Deang
Does it have more than 3.5 watts. If not, then there is no way Craig said that.
leok
Audio, It's always satisfying when theory and practice line up. The Tripath TA1101B looked, reading the specs., like it should sound great. I figured all I had to do was give it a reasonable environment (DC input, good components, solid power, and a decent pc layout). And that seems to have done the trick. By the way, Dean, it probably puts out 8 Watts before clipping. So, when 3.5 Watts isn't quite enough I use the P6D. One thing I particularly like is how neutral it is. I like to use it as a reference. I used it today to check out a pair of Chorus-IIs than I ended up buying. More on that elsewhere. leok
