KSP-S6 vs. RS-3

I am building out my dedicated home theater and have settled on KLF-30 Lf and Rf, KLF-C7 in center, but see that this very site suggests RS-3s for the surrounds instead of KSP-S6s. Can anyone tell me why that is? It would seem that ordinarily one would want commond driver components to offer better timber matching.

What am I missing? Thanks.

The website suggest RS-3 because KSP-S6 are no longer made by Klipsch. KSP-S6 would be a better match but extremely hard to come by. RS-3 being the next best thing. Saying that though Klipsh is releasing a new line here shortly, I believe the rears will be the RS-7 and they might be worth a look too.

While there has Never been a true matching surround speaker for the Legend series (KSP-S6 was for the KSP-400 and was closest available for Legend at the time) the new RS-7 will certainly be a better match than either the RS-3 or the KSP-S6. They'll be hitting stores within the month.
