garyzab
Have any of you guys seen these new subs on the Velodyne site? They feature a class d digital amp and room correction software. It looks as though Tweeter will be getting the smaller 10" and 12" sizes at the end of August. I know I said that I wouldn't be upgrading my Rsw 15, but these new Velodyne subs could prove killer. Prices range from $2000 for the 10" to $4000 for the 18" sub. I can't wait for them to come in.

fabulousfrankie
These Velo's have quite a hike in price, but I don't know of another subwoofer that has on board auto-eq provisions. I think it might be a little smarter to get a couple of clearanced HGS models in the same price.
formica
I had heard of these quite some time ago but didn't realise they weren't on the market till now. Given on how much a room effects low frequency performance, I believe that subs with built in EQ are the future... Hopefully others will follow suit. I guess in the mean time, there is BFD and test-tones to satisfy those most concerned with flat responces and room acoustics. Rob
