HornEd
Yo Avman, I just wish I were closer to you, N.O.La guy, so I could take those wretched "Pyle" of "Samsung" horns off your hands... without having to pay for some "substandard" trucking firm to get them here. I've got four and could use two more. Having been a manufacturer of specialty high-end electronics prior to retirement, I have some idea of what it takes to put out a quality product in a global economy. Fortunately, it is the "Klipsch Sound" that we have been buying for over half a century... and not the "Klipsch Component List." On balance, the economy of Hope and the Indy Rennaissance join our global consumers in thanking Paul, Fred & Co. with filling our Klipsch ears for all these years... it is no mean trick... Pyle or Samsung not withstanding. HornEd
Guest BobG
FYI, at the time your KLF-30's were manufactured, Klipsch owned the Pyle Speaker Company. We have since sold the brand name to a company in NY which makes a variety of moderate cost goods. The Pyle Speaker Commany has been shut down and there is no connection between the current Pyle brand and Klipsch. I have no idea where you got the Samsung thing. The horns are injection molded in the US by a specialty house engaged in that business.
dougdrake
I am genuinely curious -- this is not a sarcastic, rhetorical question. How many speaker manufacturers actually manufacture their own components? I think the art lies in the design, not the manufacture of components. I've read on this board about the Heritage series containing parts from a slew of manufacturers, but they continue to be great sounding speakers. I guess I just take it for granted that the parts are made elsewhere. It would be like opening up an IBM PC and expecting every component to be stamped with the IBM logo. HornEd
Welcome back AVman... we must all learn to be as alert as the Boa... but then his namesake is an expert on "constricted" personalities. And BobG, thanks for reminding us that Klipsch goes out of its way to be the best that it can be. HornEd

SickPuppy
As a practical joke, but also as a service to the store, order a bunch of Klipsch speakers as "a job well done " treat for all employee's , or maybe just for you, since your the employee of the year!!!! How about a new set of rf-7's?
