Mike Lindsey
Allen, Absolutely gorgeous! Can you explain to me the differences between the tube amp/preamp versus the conventional amps? I have never understood how so little power can make so much noise... Thanks, Mike
Pete C
Jim, Your CWs aren't stacked anymore? Did you get any pictures while they were? The photos of my black CW are on other threads, more than the default 45-days old. I still haven't made it look more presentable... I can't put anything on top of my speakers. I can always hear the rattle. I'll bet Allan moves a couple of items when (if?) he cranks them. LaScalas may have more vibration on the top because they're twice as deep. But I remember having nothing on top of my CWs, though they were a perfect place for candles.
Pete C
Allan, What's in the (walnut?) burlwood cabinet in between the Cornwalls?
Jim Cornell
Pete: The cornwalls arent stacked anymore, they were 6 feet per side, and a lot of weight to top it off! I have the other pair down, due to moving soon! Regards Jim
