Where to find 15" passive radiator (KD-16) for Chorus II??

Does anyone know where I could find the following Klipsch part:

KD-16, 15" fiber composite cone, passive.

This is the rear, passive radiator for the Chorus II.

Have you tried 1-800-klipsch parts dept? I remember reading a couple of other posts which mentioned that the PRs were not all available from the part dept... and if you are in this position... you may not have a ton of alternatives.

1- www.partsexpress.com has some replacement PR's

2- both Stryke and Adire have a line of PRs

3- to get a true replacement, you may have to buy it from Ebay

I had to go the third route to find a set of K22 woofers for a Heresy I ... ended up buying it from a fellow member selling on Ebay....

The problem with using anything except the original is that they are tuned for the specific application. You can get good results with something else, but you may have to spend some time adjusting the mass to get results similar to the original.

I modeled this in BassBox with a K48(chorus) woofer:
