Otherwise a larger gap will have to be on the lock side compared to the top and hinge side which doesn't look the best. You'd definitely need help running it through, though. NOSValves Posted October 2, 2003 Share Posted October 2, 2003 Mark, Really if you look at how a hinge works it actually moves the door slightly toward the jam as it opens in that first 2" of movement.
