ekbriggs
Anyone have experience with this sub, or even able to find literature on it since adires site link goes to a dead page? If so, give me some info on it...curous as to how a pair would stack up against my single FSR-18 and mate with 2 pairs of RF-3's?
fabulousfrankie
Isn't the Daeva a sealed Tempest with 250W? If so, I wouldn't bother with it if you already have the FSR18.
Dustin B
A single one I wouldn't bother with (as Frankie noted). But a pair should outgun an FSR18 without much difficulty. I also think it's using a 320W amp instead of a 250W amp. Adire can be slow to update there site as the bulk of their business is designing and suppling OEM parts to other speaker manufactures. If you drop them an email or give them a call they will answer all the questions you have on the Daeva.
fabulousfrankie
If you haven't already check out kenratboy's post about the upcoming Dayton sub kits' here. It seems to be a much better alternative to the Daeva if you don't mind a tiny bit of assembly, a pair would be outstanding. The driver is capable of moving more air than the Daeva, if Dustin's right on the 320W amp in the Daeva then each one of these would have over 3X the power, and finally each amplifier has a built in one band parametric eq(a huge plus IMO).
