maxg
Wanted a break from classical last night and had a round of SV for a change. Started with Solitude Standing, then 99.9F degrees and finally the album with her own name. Great stuff. Interestingly my copy of 99.9 is stamped all over it as not being for sale - sample only. Not sure what or why but it is the best sounding of the bunch by a country mile. I have others album(s - not sure if its one or two of them) of hers - all very enjoyable. Randy Bey
yes, I like her minimalist stylings. Somewhat glum but otherwise quite listenable.

Mark Hardy
Not a big fan, but I like her voice and her "style". She did (IMO) very nice covers of "China Doll" and "Cassidy" on the proto-tribute album "Deadicated" quite a few years ago. I also have a great performance by her of a song called "Stockings" from one of the WXRV-FM "Live from the River Music Hall" CD compliations. http://www.wxrv.com/musichall_cdseries.shtml
Curmudgeon
I'm a Suzanne Vega fan, she's very unique and writes clever songs. The production values and recording quality on her albums are first class, many songs make good "demo's" for higher end systems. If you like S.Z. you may also want to check out Aimee Mann who's also quite talented and often overlooked.
fini
Yep, I like her. I also REALLY dig Jennifer Warnes, whom you mentioned in another thread. Have you heard "The Hunter?" Nice stuff. fini
