Bruinsrme
Recently I relieved the pioneer49txi amps from their duties. Since then the Parasound Halos have taken over. I hate to say this but I am honestly starting to think the RF7s create enough bass that a sub may no longer be needed. The RF7s have never sounded better. scott
SteelerFan
Well I had pretty much decided on B&K Scott, now I have to consider the Halo. The only dealer around here for it is one of those "by appointment only" places. Don't know what kind of a deal one is going to get at a place like that. After X-mas I'll have to check it out. giribaldo
also for me, No sub for RF-7 for sure not for music and for Home theatre.... not always I love to use the sub, RF-7 go so low frequency that to ear a sub must to put at a volume that all became too much artificial excluding some films with particular effect. but for the music... my god i don't know the way to use the sub without waste the beautiful sound of RF-

However, I also found with my REL, it really does help fill out the bass a bit more than just the RF-7s alone, so I keep it on. That is definitly one thing I like about that REL subwoofer, it may not have some of the slam like some of the other subs people are packing around here, but I love how accurate and clean it sounds, especially with music. It just seem to make my '7's sound that much more fuller. In fact, it also seems to help in bringing out the midrange better. Yes, indeed, the RF-7s have never sounded better! Wild Blue
I highly recommend the Parasound Halo equipment, and own them myself with a set of Klipsch Legend speakers. If you're wondering where to buy them, Good Guys is having a massive sale on Halo stuff right now. (free 2-channel amp if you buy a 5-channel amp) For more Halo issues, you may want to check out Club Parasound Halo: http://www.htguide.com/CFBoards/index.cfm?fuseaction=Threads.listings&forum=40&CFB=
