ofeefee
I have decided on going with the RB-25s due to their front bass reflex ports and since these will be setup in an enclosed speaker shelf in my entertainment center. Anyway, which center should I go with. It looks like the RC25 and 35 have the same wattage, but the range is better on the 35. It also appears that the 35 is only 75 bucks more the the 25...so which to get. Should I go with the 25 to match, or go 35 and get the better range? Bill H.
ofeefee, The web page shows the match to be the RC-25, I supppose you could go with that, try it out and if it doesn't work take it back...... You bring up a good point though, if money is no object- try the 35! Yeh whats to loose. Good Luck.
PhilH
ofeefee: Either the RC-25 or RC-35 will timbre-match the RB-25's. If you have the extra room and extra dollars for the RC-35, the most noticeable difference will be more bass with it's larger woofers, especially a consideration if you are not using a subwoofer in your system. Either way you go, have fun and enjoy!! PhilH
Pistol Pete
If I were going with a surround set-up based on the RB-25s and my reciever was 6.1 then I would get 3 pairs of RB-25s and call it a day. The RB-25s do everything very well.
ofeefee
Pistol, How's the Yamaha working out? Saw one at BestBuy today and heard it playing music on SB-1's and it was unbelievable how robust the sound was. They didn't have Reference models so didn't get to try it out on that
