greg928gts
I was out at a restaurant tonight and several uniformed soldiers came in eat while we were there. I stopped and asked one where their unit was from and if they were heading out or coming back. They were a few of about 40 local Waterville Maine soldiers heading out to Iraq for 18 months to provide security to the forces. I took a few minutes to go around and shake hands with a few of them and to tell them good luck and we appreciate their service. I think it made them feel good, but I'm quite sure it made me feel even better. So if you see a soldier out and about, take a minute and say thanks, or good luck, or good job, or whatever. It means a lot to them. Greg
Cut-Throat
I once saw Pamela Anderson greeting the troops, and they were very appreciative.
fabulousfrankie
I was pretty appreciative when the Dallas cheerleaders came out to Bosnia.
