vandec54
Hello, I'm looking for a little info or maybe even a little reassurance. I have the Klipsch RF-3II's, when I was hooking one up, I inserted the speaker wire into the post and proceeded to tighten down the black plastic nut (for lack of a better term). As I was turning the plastic nut it fell apart between my fingers. All that is left is half of it. I don't believe this is affecting my speaker preformance, but I am worried that it will completely fall off (the black plastic nut) the next time I move/change speakers. What can be done about this? Will my speaker performance still be top notch if I just put the wire into the post in twisted it together like a twist tie? Thank you for your time and response. easylistener
If it is tight then you are fine for now. You can get a whole new one from klipsh. I would just buy banana plugs and just plung them in.
vandec54
Do I just plug the banana clip into the hole in the post in the back of me speaker? I really am not familiar with how to "plug" the banana clip into the speaker end. I have RF-3II's, any help is appreciated.
