HansHurt
I went into my local retailer to pick up 4 RB-5 II's and instead walked out with 2x RB-5 II's, and a pair of RF-3 II's. I didn't have access to the complete specs then and there so I relied on the salesman for my info. My goal was/is to find a perfect match (or close to it). Now that I am home, and looking at the website specs, frankly, I still can't determine if they are a match or not. One thing I can say for sure - these speakers, IMO, sound awesome....twice as good as any other manufacturers I listened to in the same price range. Juba310
Awesome! Another set of RB5's in the house! How much did you spend for your rf3s and rb5s? They should match quite well as they are all from the older refrence series. I would think the rb5s all around would match a tad better, but overall I'd think the benifits of getting towers for fronts would be greater. HansHurt
I got a nice price on the RB-5 II's @ $599.00 CDN which is equivalent to $450.00 USD, and the pair of RF-3 II's were $869.00 CDN or $650.00 USD...not quite as good a deal it seems after looking on the web. The RC-3 II should be here Friday
ccsakura
Very nice deal By the time you have money for another pair of RB-5........... get rid the RC-3II and you will have identical 6speakers........... I'm waiting for that for my own system too
Juba310
Thats an awesome price, I got mine for around 460, (ended up being a lil over 500 with tax) and I thought that was a good deal. You got a great deal!
HansHurt
Yea, they were 54% off MSRP. I pay 14.5% tax up here though.
Juba310
If I had some cash I'd buy a few pairs, and put 'em on ebay. Or is that illegal?
HansHurt
Illegal; not sure. Personally, I wouldn't wan't the hassle. On a side note, I am realizing my poor KSW-10 sub is a bit overwhelmed now...almost seems like it isn't there at all.
Juba310
Maybe its time for a sub upgrade
