calam63
is there an alternative to klipsch's cables to upgrade my 4.1s?
newsong
In answer to you question, I'm not sure what the alternatives are to the pre-made cables. If you are so inclined, you could make them yourself. Why Klipsch used the 1/8" plug configuration on the back of the satellites is beyond me. Logitech uses screw posts so the user can use any wire. That makes tons more sense to me, since a screw binding post gives a more secure connection.
jackson_ngo
there are actually countless numbers of good cables around. Maybe u can pay a visit to some shop specialise in making mod cables.
emmpeethree
i made some up myself. i went to a local hifi shop, picked up 4 mono 1/8' plugs and 105 feet of cable (the monster cables still would have been way too short) for about $70 CDN i have 14 gauge cables with silver connectors. took about 10 minutes to do the first one, another 10 mins to do the rest. emmpeethree
only canon, its an s30, but i actually compressed the pics down to 1000x1000 to save on filesize. its amazing how much equipment that guy needed to do the same thing i did. all i had was sauder, saudering iron, wire and wire cutter/splitter and the connectors. the ohm meter is rediculous.
